Medicinal Plant Walks with Medical Herbalist
It only seemed fitting on Spring solstice, to kick off the herb walks this year at Kingley Vale. Kingley Vale is a beautiful National Nature Reserve known for its ancient yew forest, chalk grassland, and rich diversity of wild plants ~ an ideal place to explore local medicinal species.
Join Medical Herbalist Laura Uphill for a guided walk through the hedgerows and fields of West Sussex and discover the healing plants growing all around us. Learn how to identify, understand, and safely use local plants as medicines and foods, and gain practical knowledge you can apply at home.
On the walk we will explore up to 40 plants, covering:

Actions, nature, and flavour of plants
